Welcome to the J.R.Masterman Alumni Group (1972-1975) website. This website will serve as a gathering place of information for Masterman alumni.
The journey to this point was as a result of classmates finding each other through social networking. We caught up with the events in each others lives. We posted pictures…old and new, and we laughed at the styles of the ‘70s. We celebrated achievements and mourned losses. We were transported back in time by those memories and once again we became friends, comrades and classmates. As our circle of friends grew wider, we sensed a common purpose forming; to extend a hand to those students who are currently attending our beloved Alma Mater.
Our primary task was to establish a scholarship fund in the name of our 1973-74 class president, Peggy Cuff. As we worked together, it became clear that the talents, abilities and influence represented by this particular group of alumni is extraordinary. As time goes on, we hope to make even more resources and support available to the students of Masterman. We hope you will be inspired to join us.
“I would encourage each pupil to make the most of each moment of life’s journey. To settle for nothing less than his best, to utilize every opportunity made available, and to give something of himself to make the total organization a little bit better.” ~ Dr. Melvin K. McMaster, Former Principal of J.R. Masterman School
